Old Town is situated on the "Old Scotch Road" which was a traditional drovers road from Scotland to Lancaster, Preston and beyond we have a large network of bridal ways serving both sides of the valley. Because of this we can offer high quality riding holidays for people who want to bring their own horses. We have 12 new stables, an indoor school and plenty of grazing in several paddocks. Hay and straw can also be provided.
